Daylight Savings Time could soon be permanent

Daylight Savings Time may soon become permanent in Illinois. A bill saying the next time we set our clocks forward again will be the last time we ever change our clocks has been approved by The Illinois Senate.

The bill basically eliminates the switch of setting our clocks back an hour in the fall. The bill now goes to the Illinois House to be voted on.
