Early Tuesday morning, 'Empire' Actor Jussie Smollet was brutally attacked in Chicago. Police are saying that two men wearing MAGA hats and yelling homophobic slurs attacked the singer/actor. Smollet gave a full statement to the police confirming that the incident did occur. Investigators are testing the chemical that was poured over Smollets head. Local authorities have confirmed that they are treating this as a hate crime.
