Kirk Franklin's sonKerrionis now claiming that the Gospel legend physically abused him. In an Instagram post, Kerrion responded to a radio personality who commented on the phone call that he leaked on Instagram between he and his dad, where his dad cursed him out.
Kerrion said that he was ready to "dive deeper" and alleged that counseling between he and his dad stopped because Kirk “caused battery” and Kerrion pressed charges.
Kerrion wrote via IG, “Threatening to beat my ass in front of TMZ too? Call me a liar again and I’ll release more tape. I’m giving you a chance to leave me alone. I said I was done, and here yaw come. Everyone except my family. Now I face the world. I am bringing awareness to #ParentalAbuse, this was never about canceling My dad, this was never to sabotage his entire career. This was a call to treat me better.”
Kirk hasn't responded to the latest allegations. This past weekend, he apologized for the phone called that Kerrion leaked.

Cardi Band Megan Thee Stallion's "W.A.P." performance at the Grammys has ruffled a few feathers. Members of the Parents Television Council has complained to the FCC about the performance.
Tim Winter, the PTC's president said in a statement, “The performance of Wet-Ass P*ssy, and let’s not pretend that WAP means anything else, was entirely unfit for a primetime network television broadcast.”
He added, “Artists have every right to confound empowerment with debasement, and sexiness with debauchery, but a broadcast television network carries a higher standard,” he stated before continuing, “especially during the times when children are likely to be in the audience. Shame on CBS.”

In other news, Cardi B slammed conservative comedian Tim Young who said that schools are more likely to teach the lyrics to "WAP" than a Dr. Suess book. Cardi responded via Twitter, saying, "When has a school made kids read the lyrics to wap? I get it wap might be a lil vulgar but stop comparing a sensual song to books that has RACIST content! How can ya not tell the difference?I see that common sense aint that common."
She continued, “By the way Dr Seuss publishing company made the decisions to remove those books on their own. Black people are not the one telling these companies to do things that they think is ‘progressive.’ Black only ask for equal justice."
She added, "Conservatives been making viral tweets comparing WAP to the banning of some of Dr Seuss books as if there’s any correlations between the two ....Well I can DEFINITELY tell some of ya ONLY read dr Seuss books 🙄 cause ya mind lacks comprehension."
