D.J. Chip, I’m new to the Columbus area. I am a 27-year-old female, a college student and I have a full-time job, I’m writing because I do have a situation. I’ve met a real nice guy and he’s like me, a student with a full-time job. We’ve been out on several dates, we have even spent a couple of weekends in a cabin in the mountains.
Well I recently found out that he used to date my cousin here in Columbus. I asked him about it and he said it was nothing, when I asked my cousin about it she said they were in love and were planning to get married. I asked how long ago was this relationship and my cousin said about five years ago. Since then my cousin has gotten married and she has two children. She told me if I wanted to date him she had no problem with that. I like him a lot but I don’t think this is a good idea, what did you think?
