VaShawn Mitchell Delivers His Brand-New Song 'Make A Way'

VaShawn Mitchell returns with his new single, and it's iHeartRadio's latest World Premiere.

On Thursday, February 27, the seasoned singer debuted his new song "Make A Way" via VMan Entertainment exclusively on iHeartRadio's 95.7 Hallelujah FM and other gospel stations around the country. The uplifting song is produced by Dready and written by Mitchell along with Nikki Grier, Anthony Jawan McEastland, and Marcus Kincy. Mitchell and his team blend elements of Hip-Hop and R&B with a heavenly choir that brings the record to life. Mitchell first teased the track last month along with a clip from the upcoming music video.

"Make A Way" marks VaShawn Mitchell's first solo record in two years. It serves as the follow-up to his 2023 album Chapter X: See The Goodness. The album includes 12 songs with features from DeWayne Crocker Jr, Shana Wilson Williams, Cece Dunn, Donnie McClurkin, Darrel Walls and more. Last year, Mitchell teamed up with Bishop Leonard Scott for their song "Jesus Saves."
