Congratulations to Yolanda Adams! She will be receiving the Gospel Music Icon Award at the 2019 Black Music Honors.
The founder and executive producer of the award show, Don Jackson, says the purpose behind it all is to recognize the trailblazers in African American music who have paved the way for artists today.
The 4th annual Black Music Honors will be hosted by Rickey Smiley and LeToya Luckett on Thursday, September 5th in Atlanta.
