Something awesomely purple went down on the 19th and no we were not there :(. There was a Brunch in Brooklyn in His Royal Honor! The death of the legendary singer was a major loss in music. His legacy continues to live on not only through artists he influenced but also events that celebrate his impact in music. Besides Spike Lee’s annual Purple People Party at Brooklyn’s Restoration Plaza, another group of Brooklyn natives also hosted an event celebrating Prince.
Just yesterday, October 19th from 1 p.m to 6 p.m, BklynGurl Productions hosted their second annual “The Purple Paisley Brunch-An Afternoon in Paris in Black and White” at New York City’s Taj Lounge.
Wonder what kind of food they had......yum!
